Merlin
Falco columbarius
Family - Falconidae

The Merlin is a small falcon with a long tail. The rings around its eyes are yellow, as well as the top of their beak and their claws.

Merlin's prefer to eat small birds but will also eat mice and other small rodents. They are ferocious, ruthless hunters that are active mostly at dawn and dusk.

They are euryoecious, which means that it can live in most places and under most conditions.

The females normally lay four to five eggs.
